After months of rigorous testing, Beonyx returned to Empire 47 on June 21 to conclude its on-site collaboration with the resort. This wasn’t just another trial run; it represented a significant milestone in Beonyx’s long-term partnership with the Quebec resort. With improved performance features and a full summer use case now underway, the B1 has officially completed its evolution at E47.
Demonstrating the B1’s Summer Strength
The goal of this final showing was to highlight the B1’s preparedness for rugged summer terrain. After months of winter testing and modifications, the shuttle was brought to the base of a steep trail, now cleared of snow but no less challenging. The mission was clear: transport eight mountain bikes and eight passengers to the summit, safely and smoothly. The result? A quiet, powerful climb that turned heads and confirmed what many had suspected – the B1 is no longer in beta mode. It’s ready for real operations.
Several creators and outdoor influencers attended, many of whom shared their impressions in testimonial videos. Influencer Steven Yalowitz stated, “(The B1) was super impressive and very convenient because we did not have to walk up to the top, but we got an amazing view. And this is really smooth, this is awesome.” What stood out wasn’t just the B1’s ability to carry heavy loads uphill, but also how comfortable, smooth, and quiet the ride was. The new brake system upgrade and the electrical regeneration system, combined with Beonyx’s signature tracked drivetrain and electric torque, created an experience that felt less like a utility shuttle and more like a refined off-road tour. Influencer Will Hatton added, “As someone who has been on a lot of bumpy trails, I’ve never experienced anything like this (B1). I’m not an engineer, but I understand that this is revolutionary.” Finally, Kevin Wagar, echoed Will’s sentiment and concluded by saying that the B1 “was one of the smoothest rides up one of the gnarliest trails I’ve ever had, hats off to you guys and your team, amazing.”
What E47 Taught Us – and What’s Next
This moment marks the conclusion of the case study that started nearly a year ago, one that challenged every aspect of the B1’s design, from adapting to deep powder in winter to navigating sharp turns and steep inclines in summer. We’re grateful to E47 for providing detailed feedback and consistent access to their trails, helping us test and refine the B1 in ways no lab could replicate. That collaboration shaped a stronger, more capable shuttle.
Thanks to this partnership, Beonyx has optimized the B1’s track system, charging capabilities, and overall build for both winter and summer use. The lessons learned here won’t just stay at E47 – they’ll shape the future adaptations for hotels, trail centers, fire departments, and municipalities across the province.
Now fully operational at Empire 47, the B1 is transporting riders and gear where traditional vehicles can’t. But the journey doesn’t end here. In September, Beonyx will offer demo units for rental across Quebec and will showcase the B1 at the Quebec Mountain Bike Symposium, giving other outdoor centers the chance to experience its capabilities firsthand. The chapter at E47 may be ending, but the B1’s momentum continues to grow.
